I built this after repeatedly running into the same frustrating problem: I’d start a long AI task and midway through… credits would run out with no warning. ManusMeter is a lightweight Chrome extension that shows your AI credit usage in real-time so you always know where you stand before starting something big. Why I built it this way: • 100% client-side (no backend) • No accounts • No API keys • No data collection • Simple color warnings (safe / warning / critical) I intentionally kept v1 minimal and privacy-first.
