Stuffolio started with a simple frustration: standing in front of something broken thinking, “I know I saved the manual somewhere…” Yes — it does everything you’d expect from a home inventory app: photos, notes, manuals, receipts, serial numbers, warranty details. That’s the starting point. What began as a small SwiftUI project to store manuals gradually evolved into something bigger. I realized most inventory apps stop at listing items — but ownership actually has phases: Buy → Warranty → Maintain → Repair → Decide what’s next. So I rebuilt it around lifecycle tracking: real warranty transitions, structured documentation, and practical AI to identify items and surface manuals or parts when something breaks. Along the way I built Stuff Scout — a feature that analyzes photos (including thrift and antique finds), identifies items, estimates value, and adds historical context. That came from my own curiosity browsing second-hand shops. I’m building this independently, iterating carefully, trying to balance power with clarity, accessibility, and privacy.
