I’m Yasu, a veteran engineer based in Shiga, Japan, with 30 years of experience in the IT industry.
Throughout my long career, I’ve watched the internet evolve. While it brought us together, it also became louder, more aggressive, and filled with "doomscrolling." Recently, I started asking myself: "Can IT make our hearts lighter instead of heavier?"
That’s why I built The Gentle Light.
It is a calm, AI-powered news platform designed to be a "Quiet Universe." Instead of fighting for your attention with sensational headlines, my system reorganizes world events and rewrites them into gentle, fact-based language. I’ve also integrated a library of Inspirational Quotes so you can reflect on wisdom while staying informed.

30-Year IT Veteran: I've spent three decades in code, but I'm still a student in the lab of life.
English as "Work in Progress": I’m building this project while studying English with my AI partner. If my grammar has bugs, please forgive me—my code is real!
