We built Signal after noticing a pattern that kept repeating. Most organisational problems were not hard to understand once they surfaced. Attrition, burnout, delivery slowdowns, cultural drift. Leaders could explain them clearly after the fact. What surprised us was how often the early signs were present, but ignored or invisible. Existing tools focus on what has already happened. Engagement surveys, retros, performance metrics. Useful, but late. Signal is an attempt to surface earlier signals. The subtle shifts that suggest something is heading in the wrong direction while it is still small and fixable.
