Hi Product Hunt! I’m Tim, the creator of AI Prompt Guard. AI tools like ChatGPT are now part of everyday work, but most people don’t realize that prompts often contain sensitive data: internal processes, client info, source code, or proprietary ideas. We built AI Prompt Guard because we kept seeing teams paste sensitive information into AI tools without any control. What AI Prompt Guard does: Warns users before prompts are submitted Helps prevent accidental data leaks Works directly in the browser as a Chrome extension Its a small additional layer of security for people hiring staff and to raise general awareness. Our goal isn’t to slow people down, it’s to make secure AI usage effortless.
