Quickfire: Open source AMS for Insurance

A fast, open agency management system for P&C workflows

Quickfire is bleeding-edge, modern Agency Management System built for next-gen commercial P&C brokers who actually live inside their software all day. It’s not a reskin of legacy AMS platforms, and it’s not AI theater. Quickfire was built by a broker who has spent decades dealing with renewals, endorsements, audits, submissions, deadlines, and the constant pressure of things needing to just work.

Hi Product Hunt - my name is Nathan Smith and I’m a broker/agency owner who grew up inside a small independent agency my dad started when I was eleven. I’ve spent most of my life around commercial P&C operations. Now I’m watching millennials like me become the grizzled agency owners, while the next generation (like my son) come in hungry, scrappy and hustling with old-school palm-greasing and tech-saavy skills like vibe coding. Quickfire started as internal tooling to survive real agency workflows, and slowly grew into a full AMS built around speed, transparency, and control. It’s open-core, host-agnostic, and designed to work with the APIs and tools agencies already rely on instead of trapping data behind walls. Early Access is open now, and feedback actually matters at this stage. If you’ve ever wished your AMS would stop getting in the way, I’d genuinely love to hear what you’d want it to do better. Happy to answer anything, including “why would I switch” or “why open source.” 🔥
