After spending €50k on a product nobody paid for, I learned: validating a problem exists isn't enough. You need proof people will pay to solve it. Problem Ledger captures evidence while you browse. See someone complaining on Reddit? Save it. Read about a pain point? Capture it. Build proof a problem is real before investing time. - Browser extension (Chrome live, Firefox/Edge this week) - AI pattern detection - Watch Mode for passive capture One-time pricing, no subscriptions.

Hey Product Hunt
I'm Danny, solo founder behind Problem Ledger.
A month ago I had 500+ people on a waitlist for my previous product, WoonKompas. I spent €50k building it. The moment we turned on paid access, conversions dropped to zero. Not a single person paid.
I realized I'd validated the wrong thing. I proved people had the problem. I never proved they'd pay to solve it.
That failure taught me to be more systematic about validation. Instead of assuming problems are worth solving, I started collecting evidence: Reddit threads where people complain, blog posts about pain points, forum discussions where someone says "I wish this existed."
Problem Ledger is what I built for myself to do this consistently. It's a browser extension that captures evidence while you browse, uses AI to detect patterns, and helps you build proof that a problem is real before you invest months building a solution.
I'm using it right now to validate Problem Ledger itself. Bit meta, but it keeps me honest.
For Product Hunt hunters: Use code PRODUCTHUNT at checkout for 50% off (€9.95 instead of €19.95). Only the first 50 people.
Would love to hear your feedback. Have you built something people liked but wouldn't pay for? How do you validate ideas now?
Thanks for checking it out!
