It made me pause and think, "Wait, could I do it too?" The Beginning: I started by listening to people’s frustrations. I believed that within those complaints, there must be something the world actually needs. This app is my first answer to that. To be honest, I didn't know how well I could work with AI or how far I could go. I started this as a "warm-up" MVP, a simple starting point to see what was possible. The Struggle: My current job requires a 5-hour daily commute. By the time I get home on weekdays, I’m completely exhausted. I only had weekends and holidays to build this. Time was my greatest enemy, but as the pieces started coming together, the excitement took over. What started as a small MVP grew into a full-bodied project as ideas kept pouring in. The Partner (Gemini & VS Code): I built this with Gemini and VS Code. Without Gemini, I wouldn't have even started, let alone finished. We "fought" a lot, projects were scrapped and restarted, and I went through countless trials and errors. But eventually, I pushed it all the way to the App Store review. The Reward: They say life in your 50s can be predictable, but AI has brought an incredible rush of dopamine back into my daily routine. Shipping this after an intense 18-day journey feels like a dream. I’m so curious to hear your feedback. Will our Owl truly help people stay motivated?
