Hey Product Hunt 👋 I built Music FX because every time I made a video or demo, I hit the same wall: • stock music sounded generic or overused, • licensing felt confusing and risky, • and opening a full DAW just to get a simple background track was way too much friction. I wanted something that felt like: “type what you need, get a safe-to-use track in seconds.” That became Music FX — an AI text-to-music generator for creators who ship content every day (videos, ads, podcasts, courses, games, etc.) and don’t have time to become music producers. During the build, the biggest shift was realizing this can’t just be a “cool AI demo.” I talked with early creators and focused on: • clear commercial rights by default, • simple controls (mood, style, length) instead of complex audio settings, • MP3/WAV exports that drop straight into Premiere, CapCut, OBS, etc., • a credit-based model that works for both solo makers and agencies. Today’s launch is the first public version.
