I built stitch-mcp because AI coding tools are insanely powerful, but UI design was still a blind spot. Agents could write logic fast, yet UI was either hallucinated or required manual export from design tools. That gap was breaking the flow. I wanted AI agents to see real design intent. Fonts, colors, layouts, screens. Not guesses. The idea evolved into using MCP as a clean bridge and Google Stitch as the source of truth for UI. The process was simple in theory, hard in execution. Make it zero config, universal, and usable inside real editors. The goal is a true design to code loop where AI works with designers, not around them.
