GiftMyBook turns your favorite person (or couple) into the main character/s of a real printed book. Answer a few fun questions, and our AI writer will write a hilarious/personal story and generates a best-in-class cover. We print + ship it to your door.

Hey all, Yoav here.
GiftMyBook is a personalized, printed gift book, written with AI. You answer a few fun questions tailored to the occasion, we turn them into a fiction story where your person is the main character, generate a custom front and back cover you can preview instantly, and ship a real book to your door. The goal is something personal and funny, but still premium enough to give proudly.
We started this mostly out of curiosity. We wanted to learn physical products and gifting, and we kept coming back to a simple truth: people will always buy gifts, and everyone wants to be the one who gives the “cool” one. AI felt like a real unlock for making something truly personal without it looking cheap or gimmicky.
This has also been a very vibe coded project on Base44.
We’re a small team and this is a side project of ours, but Base44 let us move fast and stay close to the product. Build the flow, test it, tweak it, ship it, repeat.
One thing that helped a lot lately is how much the models improved over the last few months.
The newer image models made the covers noticeably better and more consistent, and it became much faster to iterate on prompts and visuals.
That combination of Base44 speed and the models that improved as we were building really compounded for us.
Fun recent example: we built a new Valentine’s feature called Couple Books in about two hours.
It makes playful books for couples with beautiful covers, and it was a good reminder of what’s possible when you can iterate quickly.
