Gen Image Factory

Local batch orchestrator for automated AI image pipelines

Stop babysitting your AI. Build a factory. As a DevOps engineer, I hated manually clicking through image generators. I didn't want a chatbot; I wanted a pipeline. Gen Image Factory is a local desktop orchestrator that turns repetitive AI generation into a structured batch process. ✅ Batch Processing: Run thousands of prompts via API (Runware, OpenAI). ✅ Structured Data: Use CSV/TXT and prompt templates. ✅ Local-First: Privacy-focused, no-cloud-lock-in, open-source.

Hi Product Hunt! 👋 I’m Slava, and I’ve spent the last 10+ years in DevOps. If there’s one thing a decade in infrastructure teaches you, it’s that if you have to do something manually twice, you should have built a pipeline for it. I found myself 'babysitting' AI image generators—pasting prompts, clicking generate, waiting, and repeating. It felt like a step backward for someone used to automation. I didn't want a chatbot; I wanted an orchestrator. So, I spent the last 6 months building Gen Image Factory. It’s a local desktop tool (built with Electron & React) designed for high-volume asset production. Instead of one-off generations, it treats AI like a factory floor: 🏗️ Structured Pipelines: Use Prompt Templates and CSV/TXT libraries to handle thousands of variables. ⚡ Batch Orchestration: It processes your queue in the background using external APIs (Runware, OpenAI, etc.), so you don’t need a massive GPU to stay productive. 📂 Auto-Organization: It handles the file naming and organization that usually takes up half your time. I built this using a Spec-Driven Development (SDD) approach, managing AI agents to help with the implementation while I focused on the system architecture. It’s 100% Free and Open Source. I’m here all day to answer technical questions about the architecture, the SDD process, or how to scale your image workflows. I'd love to hear your feedback! 🚀
