Hey everyone! 👋 I’m Thanusayan, the maker of OpenUp. I built this app because I was tired. Tired of the "highlight reels" on Instagram, the toxicity on Twitter, and the feeling of being lonely despite being "connected" to thousands of people. I wanted a place where we didn't have to perform. A place where we could just… exist. OpenUp is that safe space. It’s a social platform designed for mental wellness, not addiction. No Likes, Only Hugs: We measure kindness, not popularity. The Vent Box: A tool to write down your worries and watch them disappear (literally). Time Capsules: Send a message of hope to your future self. I coded this entire platform myself because I believe the internet needs a sanctuary.
