Hi Product Hunt 👋 I built MindCraft Studio because I wanted a professional AI image tool that runs fully locally on macOS, with usability and workflow in mind. Most tools I tried were either cloud-based or hard to get started with. I wanted something intuitive and fast, designed specifically for Apple Silicon, with a clean, thoughtful UI/UX and support for modern models like FLUX and Z-Image. Happy to answer any questions. Thanks for checking it out!

"Compressing the entire universe into your Mac..." :)

Downloaded and tried this morning as I'm psyched about the local / privacy angle. Unfortunately I got hung up in the install below - seen that before? Sat there for 20 mins and never got to 100%

Thanks for trying it out — and sorry about the hiccup 🙏

When it gets stuck at 99%, it’s usually no longer downloading data. At that point the app is doing a final readiness / verification step for the model files (including integrity checks after the download completes), which can sometimes appear “stuck”, especially on the first run.

Could you try relaunching the app and resuming the download? The progress should be preserved.

If that doesn’t work, you can:

• Skip the tour

• Go to Settings → Base Model

• Try Resume

As a last resort, deleting and re-downloading the model should also work reliably.

I’m actively improving the progress feedback here so this stage is clearer — thanks for flagging it!
