It all started last Tuesday afternoon when I was hunched over my laptop, frantically doom-scrolling through scattered Discord servers, Reddit threads, and bookmarked Twitter posts. I was searching for that one perfect prompt, the one someone had shared weeks ago that made Claude Sonnet 4.5 analyze my requirements and spit out plans like a boss. I'd used it once, forgot to save it, and now it was lost somewhere in the digital ether. After an hour of fruitless searching, I slumped back in my chair and thought: "There has to be a better way." That frustration sparked an idea. What if there was a single place where the AI community could gather their best prompt, not buried in chat logs or disappearing into the void of social media, but organized, searchable, and ranked by the people who actually used them? I imagined a space where someone's clever trick for getting better code explanations could be just a search away, where beginners could discover proven techniques instead of reinventing the wheel, and where the collective wisdom of thousands of prompt engineers could be preserved and celebrated. So I built superprompts.dev. Not as a corporation or a grand business plan, but as a gift to the community. I wanted to create the resource I wished had existed, a place where every brilliant prompt could find a home, and every curious mind could find inspiration.
