Within hours, the threat actor had access to their banking and payment information. The damage was catastrophic. This hit me hard because I know so many small business owners, in fact I have several in my family (who are all using ScanLikely now). An attack like this would destroy them. I knew then that I had to do something to combat "quishing" (QR + phishing). "Quishing" is so dangerous because even tech-savvy users get caught because QR links aren't visible until after you scan them. This means that they slip past most email filters entirely. And here's the kicker, employees scan these on personal devices, which don't have the same corporate protections. All your security controls; completely bypassed. So I built ScanLikely, the first app designed specifically to stop these attacks. It's simple: scan any QR code, and we check it for threats in real-time before it opens.
