Just tried Kalnut, and I’m genuinely impressed! The food scanner works perfectly with Indian dishes — super accurate and fast. The design feels clean and simple, and I love how the meal plans actually fit my budget and routine. Finally, a nutrition app that truly gets Indian food! 👏✨
Hey everyone 👋
Really excited to finally share Kalnut with you.
It started with a simple realization: most calorie and wellness apps don’t understand our everyday food.
Indian food is missing, regional foods are missing, and even global cuisines often feel incomplete.
So we built Kalnut, a nutrition and habits app that understands Indian meals, and also works for any cuisine from anywhere in the world.
Whether you eat dal or dalgona, dosa or dumplings, biryani or burritos, your meals can be tracked and analysed easily.
NOTE:- Please Use your mobile for best experience
Kalnut helps you:
🍛 Plan meals based on your region and ingredients
🔥 Track calories for Indian dishes and global dishes
🌱 Build habits like hydration, meditation, and workouts
🧠 Understand the psychology behind your cravings
📖 Reflect daily with journaling and My Day insights
Our goal was not to copy another Western wellness app.
We wanted something that feels personal, simple, and built for everyone, no matter what food they eat.
✨ The real problem we are trying to solve
Most people don’t struggle with food because of calories.
They struggle because of patterns, cravings, stress, and emotions.
Kalnut goes beyond tracking.
It helps you understand why you eat the way you eat.
🔥 What makes Kalnut different?
We don’t just track calories.
We track the psychology behind every calorie.
🧠 Future-Self Mirror
Shows how each meal moves you closer or farther from the identity you want.
👹 Craving Parasite
Your cravings become a character you can defeat. They shrink when you resist.
🌑 Shadow Day
A weekly simulation of where your current habits lead if nothing changes.
⚡ Micro-Choice Fork
A 3-second pause before unhealthy choices so you choose consciously instead of automatically.
📉 Discipline Debt Tracker
No guilt. Just a measurable way to bounce back from slips.
🧩 Everything you get in the 1 dollar plan
• Indian and global calorie tracking
• Meal planner
• Stress-aware insights
• Emotional eating detection
• Quick recipes
• Habits tracker

💥 Launch offer: 55 percent off for the first 1,000 users
Only 2 dollar becomes 1 dollars
(199 rupees becomes around 89 rupees)
One-time payment.
No upsells.
No fake complexity.
⚠ Why start today
Every day you delay, your patterns grow stronger.
Not choosing is also a choice, and it has a cost.
If you believe there is a stronger version of you waiting,
this is your sign to meet them.
Would love your thoughts, feedback, or ideas.
Happy to answer anything ❤️

love seeing apps built for indians!
do you also plan to add a feature so that i can take a pic of my plate/meal, and the food + calories automatically get calculated?
@kritika_singhania Thank you so much, Kritika!
Yes, that feature is already live ..you can take a picture(adding a small reference object helps with portion accuracy) of your meal and KALNUT will automatically identify the food items and estimate the calories.
Would love for you to try it and share your feedback!

@aditya_kumar_jha1 oh that’s great!
Love the concept! Does the app also provide insights on how we improve our daily eating habits as per our fitness goal?
@zahabiya_aboojiwala Thank you so much, Zahabiya!
Yes KALNUT gives personalized insights based on your fitness goals. It analyzes your meals, patterns, hydration, habits, and daily intake to guide you on how to improve step-by-step.
Would love to hear your thoughts once you try it!

Super cool! I'm a notorious calorie watcher and it gets tiring to keep googling "Average calories in pav bhaji without butter" :3 V happy to see an Indian app fine tune this for Indian food
@anand_singh37 Thanks, Anand! 😄
We’ve all done that “pav bhaji without butter calories” search — too many times.
KALNUT. makes this effortless with accurate Indian-specific nutrition + portion logic, so you never need to Google meals again.
love seeing apps built for indians!
do you plan to add features like a simple meal timeline to see all my meal photos for the day, a photo scanner that learns my portion sizes for better accuracy, and meal-time reminders for breakfast, lunch, and dinner?
@poovarasan_s1 Thank you, Poovarasan! 🇮🇳
Yes — all three features are already in our roadmap:
• Meal timeline to see your full-day food journey
• Smart photo scanner that learns your portion sizes
• Meal-time reminders for breakfast, lunch, and dinner
We’re building these next to make tracking even easier and more intuitive.

This is so cool. Love that you’re finally giving proper attention to Indian meals and real cravings instead of just numbers. Trying it today, congrats on the launch!
@alia_soni1 Thank you so much, Alia!
That means a lot to us we really wanted to build something that understands real Indian eating patterns and cravings.
Would love to hear your experience once you try it! 🙌
