mcpWhiz helps you build and test MCP servers right in your browser. Upload your OpenAPI, Postman, GraphQL, HAR, or WSDL/SOAP specs and instantly see generated code in Python or TypeScript inside a built-in code editor. Edit, explore, and run test servers directly in the browser to see how your MCP setup behaves—no setup or deployment required, just fast, hands-on experimentation.

Hey everyone 👋 When I first started exploring the Model Context Protocol (MCP), I noticed how hard it was to actually see what was happening under the hood. Spinning up servers, configuring tools, and testing requests all felt heavier than it needed to be. That’s what inspired mcpWhiz — I wanted a way to experiment, build, and test MCP servers right in the browser, with live code generation and an editor that lets you instantly see your server in action. This started as a small side project, but after demoing it at the Seattle Lovable Hackathon and seeing developers’ reactions, I realized it could help others learn and build faster too. Now it’s open source, browser-based, and designed for developers who want to explore MCP without setup friction. Would love to hear what you’d build or test with it — feedback and ideas are super welcome! 🙌

@abdella206 Are there any plans to add a feature for sharing and importing specific server configurations with other users?

Fuad Abdella

@masump a sharing feature already exists and everything you created along with the server configurations becomes available to those you share it with 🙌🏽

Really loved the project. I'll try

Fuad Abdella

@chilarai Thanks! Let me know how it goes!

Congrats on the launch!

How does the real-time testing help catch issues compared to traditional API testing workflows?

Fuad Abdella

@sanskarix it help catches issues because you don't have to lose focus with all the complex server mcp configurations and let's you focus on the pure mcp code but of course I will plan on rolling out more better features as well
