When we started Niti AI, it was because we saw so many brands spending big on getting new customers—and then watching them drift away. With founders like Aravind Ranganathan (an engineering leader steeped in AI/ML) and Hari Subramanian (a growth-tech veteran who’s built teams at places like Uber and AWS) we felt compelled to fix that gap. What we were really solving was two things: one, brands didn’t have the tools or time to make customer retention and re-engagement automatic, and two, they ended up spending more and more to win back users because they couldn’t keep them in the loop. Our process changed quite a bit along the way. At first we built a simple tool to help brands send better retention campaigns. Then as we worked with real-world data we realised we needed full-funnel AI-agents that can watch what a customer does, trigger the next step, learn from outcomes, and plug into a brand’s tech stack. So what started small turned into a full lifecycle-growth engine.
