This is for all engineers annoyed by VCs funding AI wrapper projects that you could basically vibe-code in one weekend. Let me share how a YouTube rant turned into a really solid side project for me.
While reacting to a buzzy AI startup raising $18M from VC, I wondered if I could whip up the exact same app over one weekend. Honestly, I was shocked at how much money investors are throwing at AI startups. It felt like a personal challenge: Could I build an AI wrapper with a stealth mode (invisible in meetings) in just two days?
I'm not proud of it, but I basically vibe-coded the sh*t out of that app in two days. I was so irritated by the idea of raising money for something like this that I kept building it, just to see how far it could go.
Before you say anything, I know how to code. I've been writing code since I was 12, professionally since 17 (I'm 35 now). I'm not a vibe-coder by trade. I just wanted to prove that AI can already crank out startups worth millions in valuation lol.
This project went way further than I ever imagined, so why not launch it on Product Hunt and see how far it can really go?
I'm not trying to sell the idea that we're not an AI wrapper. Hell no!! I just want to build the best AI wrapper, something I would like to use daily on multiple tasks.

You're whole thing can't be "reacting to a buzzy AI startup raising $18M from VC o m g ha ha ha" and deliver (arguably) a sub par product, that's actually more expensive.
I just don't get it. I'd love to be proven otherwise.

Persua as a whole seems like a very interesting piece of software, but the problem is that I can’t really picture what the workflow would look like.
I mean, I understand the value proposition, but I’d love to see some videos of real use cases or a demo so it can be better visualized or modeled.
