Hey everyone — I built Momentum because I had a big, embarrassing weakness as a technical founder: I would code for 12 hours straight, but the moment I needed to do sales, outreach, or marketing, I froze. I’d convince myself, “I’ll do it tomorrow.” Then tomorrow became next week. Then next week became three silent months of building. I wasn’t afraid of work. I was afraid of the kind of work that gives no dopamine. You email, you post, you reach out… and you hear nothing back. That silence destroys momentum more than failure ever could. I think a lot of builders and introverted founders know this feeling. Eventually, I learned the painful truth: consistency in growth matters more than brilliance in product. Small daily actions beat heroic bursts followed by long disappearances. So I built Momentum for myself first — a way to take one meaningful growth action every day, and actually feel rewarded for it. No overwhelm. No giant to-do list. Just one task, one win, streak stays alive, momentum continues. And with AI Assist helping draft emails, posts, comments and outreach, the hardest part (starting) practically disappears.
