Hi Product Hunt — I’m Ian Naylor, founder of BMMI. After building and running multiple startups, I kept running into the same frustrating problem: Every time we built a new product or planned a new campaign, the hardest part wasn’t coming up with ideas — it was structuring them so everyone (and our AI tools) understood the business the same way. I needed a fast, repeatable way to create product descriptions, feature breakdowns, benefits analysis, competitors, and market mappings that could be shared with teams and fed into AI systems for deeper insight and consistency. Every business I ran, whether it was marketing, SaaS, or analytics, ended up reinventing that same wheel. So I built BMMI (Business Mind Map Insights) to fix it. BMMI turns your business context into a living AI-powered mind map — automatically identifying your features, markets, and benefits so you can analyze, target, and strategize with clarity. It’s like having a visual AI consultant that connects the dots between your product, your positioning, and your growth opportunities. Whether you’re mapping a product launch, aligning marketing and dev teams, or building strategy docs for your AI agents — BMMI makes it consistent, fast, and shareable. We’re launching with a free mind map and are offering personal onboarding sessions for early teams. Thanks for checking out BMMI! I’d love your feedback, especially if you’re a founder or strategist trying to make your business more “AI-ready” and primed for growth. Ask me anything about how it works, how we protect your data, or how teams are already using it to turn complexity into clarity. - Ian

As a CEO who’s spent way too many hours trying to align teams around the same product strategy, this hits home.

BMMI is one of those tools you instantly “get” the moment you see it. Turning your business info into a living, AI-powered mind map is such a clever way to make sense of everything — features, markets, competitors, benefits — all in one place.

It’s like having a visual AI strategist sitting next to you, helping connect the dots between your product, your market, and where the biggest growth opportunities actually are.

What I really like is that it’s fast, clear, and shareable — no more 50-slide decks just to explain what your product does and why. For founders and teams trying to get more AI-ready, this feels like a must-have.

Huge congrats to @ian_naylor and the team — you’ve built something genuinely useful that every startup and strategist will appreciate. 🚀

Ian Naylor

Thanks so much @davidhallappinst - really appreciate that 🙌

Totally feel you on the hours lost trying to get everyone aligned. That was exactly the pain point that inspired BMMI — those endless decks, docs, and Notion pages that almost made sense but never connected the full picture.

We wanted something that doesn’t just store information, but actually thinks with you — linking your markets, features, and growth opportunities visually so strategy finally feels alive and shareable.

I’m curious — when you’ve tried to align teams in the past, what’s been the hardest part: getting everyone to agree on priorities, or making the strategy easy enough for everyone to actually use?

David Hall

@ian_naylor I’d say a mix of both!

Getting everyone to agree on priorities is always tricky — everyone’s coming at it from their own angle. But honestly, the real challenge comes after that… keeping everyone on the same page once things start moving.

I’ve lost count of how many strategies just end up buried in a google sheet, slides or trello board no one revisits. What you’ve built with BMMI feels like the fix for that — it actually keeps the strategy alive and easy to understand. Super smart idea

Automated competitive analysis could be a game changer

Ian Naylor

Thanks @rajpurohit_vijesh Absolutely - that’s one of the biggest strengths of BMMI. It doesn’t just automate competitive analysis, it visualises it. You can see where your competitors overlap with your markets, products, and value props in seconds, then drill down to uncover untapped opportunities or strategic blind spots.

The real magic is how it connects those insights directly to your own business model, so strategy becomes visual, not theoretical.

Would you find it more useful if the AI compared your competitors automatically, or if you could interactively explore the differences yourself?
