Why I built this: After watching friends and family spend dozens of hours, and a lot of stress, planning major trips like honeymoons and pilgrimages, I knew there had to be a better way. Traditional travel sites offer generic lists, not a coherent, hour-by-day plan. I built Travela AI to give every traveler a personal trip planner in their pocket. What's new and unique: Unlike other tools that just list attractions, our AI is built specifically for meaningful, complex trips. It understands the nuance of a pilgrimage (logistics, respect, timing) versus a honeymoon (romance, privacy, luxury). It automatically builds in realistic travel times, balances activity with rest, and curates experiences based on your specific goals, not just popularity. What I'm most proud of: Creating a tool that removes the anxiety of planning and gives people the confidence to embark on their dream journeys. The technology is cool, but the real win is seeing someone get a complete, beautiful itinerary for a life-changing trip in under 60 seconds.
