I built BuildKitty Play because I kept bumping into limitations of Tailwind Play—it only shows HTML+Tailwind, but so many AI tools (and devs in general) are producing React + Tailwind code now. Before, you needed heavy remote containers just to see it live.

This playground makes it instant: paste or write JSX, preview React + Tailwind in real time, inspect the component tree, and tweak code on the fly. It’s free to use and designed to be lightweight and fast—ideal for the new AI coding workflows where you want to quickly validate what an LLM generates.

I’m starting simple but already thinking about features like screenshot capture of components, multi-component previews, and better visualization options. I’d love your feedback: what’s most valuable to you in a React + Tailwind playground?

This tool is great because I love being able to inspect layers in React’s tree view and interact with components in real time. This tool truly stands out because it lets me rapidly prototype pages and iterate on ideas without needing a dedicated designer.
