I'm the maker of Convolution, and I'm so excited to share it with you all.
The idea for this app was born out of frustration. I've been in countless meetings where brilliant people talk past each other, not because of ill will, but because everyone is locked into their own perspective. We build echo chambers without even realizing it.

I saw the same pattern with most AI tools. You ask a question, you get an answer. It's fast, but it's often one-dimensional. To get a truly nuanced view, I found myself writing monstrous prompts, trying to force the AI to role-play different sides. It was tedious and inefficient.

I thought: what if an app could do this for you? What if you could define a problem and instantly assemble a virtual board of directors—a skeptical CFO, an optimistic engineer, a concerned customer—and just... watch them debate?
That’s Convolution.

It’s a tool I built for myself to make better decisions, to see the bigger picture, and to break out of my own cognitive biases. It’s for:
• Founders & PMs wanting to pressure-test a new feature idea.
• Writers needing to flesh out character motivations.
• Students trying to understand all sides of a complex topic for an essay.
• Anyone facing a tough personal choice and wanting to see it from every angle.

The entire app is built with React on Vite, running on Netlify's serverless platform with a Neon Postgres DB for user data. The AI magic is a LLM API, using a structured output schema to get the final synthesis just right.

I truly believe we're just scratching the surface of using AI not just for answers, but for understanding and empathy.
It’s free to get started. I’d be incredibly grateful for you to give it a try and let me know what you think. I'll be here all day to answer every single question!
What's the first dilemma you would have it solve?
