We are implementing a comprehensive set of mechanisms to protect both your personal data and the overall application.

Local-first approach - most AI tasks, like transcription or summarization, run on your device whenever possible, so sensitive data stays private and doesn’t have to leave your computer. Also, Sandboxed plugins mitigate the risk of using the default system directly.

Minimal data exposure - scoped access procedure. Plugins and workflows only access the data required for their specific task. Temporarily signed URLs and sandboxed environments ensure raw audio, transcripts, or documents aren’t unnecessarily stored or shared.

User control: you approve each plugin, see what data it accesses, and can revoke permissions at any time. Nothing is shared, synced, or processed externally without your explicit consent.

Auditable Workflows: Every action performed and data utilized by plugins is logged to ensure accountability. These are immutable and encrypted, allowing only users and the system to verify the action.

In addition, robust security architecture, strong encryption, and cloud safeguards are in place, allowing you to use Auron seamlessly without worrying about data misuse or security gaps.
