For correlation timeframes, we've found the sweet spot is:

  • 1H-4H for trend confirmation (catches the major BTC moves)

  • 15M for precise entries (when BTC and alts move together in real-time)

  • Daily for overall market regime (is BTC leading or following?)

The 75.4% correlation you see updates dynamically - when it drops below 60%, we actually flag it as a different trading environment entirely.
