I'm Al Floyd, the creator of the Verse of the Day Widget for WP, and I'm thrilled to share it with you all. My goal was to build a simple tool that delivers daily spiritual inspiration through a combination of scripture and dynamic visual beauty.
The plugin automatically displays a randomly selected Bible verse from the King James Version (KJV) each day over a stunning, AI-generated nature background. You can choose to display these verses over beautiful static images, engaging videos, or a mix of both.
Here are some of the key features:
ChatGPT-Powered Translations: We offer translations in over 100 languages. The plugin uses ChatGPT to translate the King James Version English text, aiming to maintain a more formal phrasing that aligns with the traditional style of the KJV.
AI-Generated Visuals: Backgrounds feature unique, AI-generated nature scenery with options for static images or dynamic videos. The AI-generated scenes and images are served in Google's efficient WebP format.
Flexible Design and Placement: The plugin includes two distinct widgets: one for headers and a compact one for sidebars. You can also use shortcodes (votd_header_widget] and [votd_sidebar_widget]) to embed the verses anywhere in your posts and pages.
Customization: Personalize the look by choosing from 8 different fonts, including Google's Roboto font.
