We created Florence* to address a problem we’re passionate about: the increasing educational divide that leaves talented, underserved STEM students without the necessary tools for success. Potential often goes untapped, not due to a lack of talent, but because of limited access.

Florence* is our solution, an AI-powered academic assistant designed to be a lifeline, not a luxury. It serves as a personal AI tool to help STEM students in underserved areas understand STEM concepts better, offers step-by-step coding assistance, and helps automate research and assignments.

What sets Florence* apart is our commitment to true accessibility. We provide support through the platforms students already use daily, Telegram and a mobile-optimized web app. Additionally, we are launching on WhatsApp by October 18th to reach even more students where they are. Our affordable, token-based pricing ($0.65 for 10 tokens) is specifically designed to benefit those who need it most.

We launched our MVP on July 18th and have been closely collaborating with our first set of users, using their feedback to implement meaningful improvements.
