Today’s credit/equity analysis and investment banking software tools are not fit for purpose. Investment banks are averse to AI and slow to develop new technology and external vendors such as S&P and Bloomberg are resting on their laurels, offering bloated technology, charged at exorbitant rates. Start-ups are focusing on automating the workflow of investment banks but are missing the obvious opportunity to develop a simplistic interface where analysts can collaborate with AI, producing models and writing research in the same way a conductor controls an orchestra. This is why Accelio was founded, an AI-powered web application which allows analysts to collaborate with LLMs, partially automating their workflow without ever having to open Excel or PowerPoint.
