I agree, I also feel more motivated to complete the project I am working on.
Dan Kaplan- I help founders tell the right stories.
Been using Brain.fm since it launched and it is (no exaggeration) a life-changer. Whenever I'm struggling to get into writing/creating mode, I put on headphones and turn on "Focus" for 30-60 minutes. 5-10 minutes later, the distractions have melted away and I'm on task.
Joseph Hsieh- Growth.
Brain is my go-to for concentration and focus when I just want random noise that's not distracting. It has a few modes like focus, meditate, sleep, relax, etc. Allegedly, it also taps into scientific principles that helps you focus or relax and be more productive.
Lifehacker
Whether you're trying to focus and get some work done, you need to chill out and relax, or you want something soothing to help you drift off to sleep, Brain.fm has tunes that can help you out. The compositions are completely original, so don't expect to hear songs you know, but they do work like a charm.
The National
Brain.fm delivers a continuous loop of computer-generated music to help you work, relax, read or sleep. But this reviewer found it more of a turn off than a motivator.

Calm

Take a break and meditate.

Calm is the #1 app for mindfulness and meditation to bring more clarity, joy and peace to your daily life. Winner of Apple's Best App of the Year 2017. 🏆

Adam Bader- programmer, digital marketer, space geek
I meditate every day (usually 10 minutes in the morning). Helps me clear my mind before my day gets crazy. Calm is a fantastic app to use to get started. I love the guided meditation sessions they offer as well as the sounds and scenes. Additionally, it syncs with HealthKit so you can export your date to services such as Gyroscope.
Scott Rosenblum- President/Founder, LEVEL PR
I used it once and it was a neat way to meditate using an app, but for some reason it just ends up on the forgotten page of screen crawl. Don't know if it's just me, but can apps replace the real thing of mediating while listening to a real life instructor?
Priyanka Sharma- Product Designer
Calm is great! The stories are wonderful and well narrated. Definitely recommending this to anyone who wants to sleep better.

It's easy to use. A lot of free resources and their guided meditation is excellent. Also, for most of the meditations, you can set it to however long you want, even the guided ones.
Lindsay Saewitz- Chi Entrepreneur + The #Bizamo Project
So far my favorite (over headspace). I like that it's 5 minutes instead of 10, haha. makes me more likely to do it! and you can pick based on how much time you have.

An amazing collection of guided meditations. Pay once and listen to all the recordings forever. The teachers are great and using the app is a nice experience overall. If you'd like to add meditation to your morning routine this app will definitely help.

I started using Meditation Studio about a month ago and have been pleased with it so far. They have audio guides that talk you through different topics that focus on uncovering happiness, overcoming bad moods, mindfulness, self-compassion, and a couple more.

Simple. Basic. Helpful. A nice variety of meditations and voices to take you through a meditation.

Joan Boixadós- everydaycheck.com
The only way is to do it every day ;)
Joan Boixadós- everydaycheck.com
It helps you work towards your goals every day.
Joan Boixadós- everydaycheck.com
I initially developed everydayCheck for myself because I thought all the other apps were too cluttered with features I didn't need. Then I shared it with some friends and they loved it, so I decided to productize it. It's a minimalistic habit tracker that resembles a paper habit tracker as much as possible while taking advantage of the new techs, of course. … See more

Box Breathing

Breathe in sync with this to calm yourself down

Juraj Pal- Global Head of Partnerships at Slido
Other than Headspace, I've been really enjoying box breathing practice. As opposed to Headspace, it's something that you can do pretty much anytime, even if you have just 3 minutes before you go on stage, etc.
