Over 2 years ago I got a home mini for the cost of two months of Spotify premium. I had music files on my PC and a speaker that no music player could connect to. I worked on a POC, it worked, made the MVP, and been working on it religiously. I share it now because I have finished all the core features I and my users wanted, and am just fixing the odd bug that pops up.
