There's real power in creating these context-specific rooms, it's such an upgrade from your standard vanilla Zoom or Hangouts meeting. For example, my specific focus is on creating a great interviewing experience for candidates and interviewers. I can use Tilde to populate the room with the right stuff to get started - shared whiteboard, documents on the role, critical info about the company to share with candidates, etc. This is way better than "let me share my screen" / "let me drop you this link".
The best video conferencing app that I have ever seen recently.
Here are some reasons to use Tilde:
- I do not have to sign up
- I do not have to install on my computer. I can use it on browser.
- I do not have to share any of my informations (name, e-mail, phone etc.)
- It is FREE. I do not have to pay for any thing.
- It is really easy to use. Plenty of people are struggling to use new technologies such as zoom, teams, skype.
- There are plenty of options to use it.
- It has integrations and extensions to use in more effectively.
What should I expect from online meeting application? Tilde is responding my all expectations.
It is really great product! Congrats the team who have created this.
Product is great but some suggestions.
Having a persistent meeting room where all the windows you have open persists is great but the only thing is you can't edit those docs outside of Tilde. It would be nice if shared Google Sheets or other apps like Jira or Asana can be persisted. That way the team can come back to the meeting and find the same apps opened to pick up from last meeting.
Also, I find it slightly annoying that the control bar at the bottom is always taking up real estate and can't hide itself. It'd be nice to have the experience similar to Mac where the control bar can slide up when cursor moves to that area.
