A great service run by garbage people. The mentors you can get connected with are great, and I’ve benefited from their help on a number of projects. But unfortunately the service is run by a company with a terrible business model. You pay a service fee whenever you connect with a mentor, which makes sense. But they also require you to pay a subscription fee that is advertised as a monthly fee, but you have to pay quarterly. So if you just need one connection, you shell out three months of a fee that is auto renewing. Ask customer service to refund you when you get charged and they show zero sympathy and get snarky in their response. Avoid this company and find you coding support elsewhere.

Its been a year, my profile was deleted by these cheaters for an unclear reason. They are not even sure why they have deleted the profile. The representative Deepika Jhonson from Codementor is even not clear about her platform that how does it work. In short, they are fraud, non competent and a waste of time for you. Would they be able to answer their claims here, coz they haven't given me on the private email yet. Queries are:- 1. Deepika has claimed the mentor can't end the session. Isn't it. 2. They have pressurized me for one thing that session went to so longer with my client. It shouldn't be more than 15 Minutes. Than why they have an option to offer first 15 minutes to new clients. How a non-technical person can mediate here to decide how long this session should go? 3. They have not yet responded to any of my queries. A user who is claiming his money back coz of his network issue is considered as my work quality issue. Are you kidding I have your emails every time I was your featured mentor. If you will not answer my serious queries over phone call. I am gonna put you in trouble. Thanks.

I am still working on codementor for the last 1 year or so. They charge very high from both mentee and mentor. They need to cut it down a bit. But they pay on time.

I begun using Codementor, when I was looking for a little bit of side-income in my field. It is a very fulfilling way to do so, by teaching and mentoring other developers in how React works. I can totally recommend it.

I started using CodeMentor thinking it would be something similar to PeoplePerHour or Upwork, but this actually works! It's quick from signup to first project, weekly payouts, and a good platform for direct communication and mentoring. I think I got my first student within 24 hours after starting to use the site and my first payment in a couple of days later.

There's some minor technical annoyances, and you need to manually make sure your students accept you starting a session (or you're mentoring for free) but other than that, I mostly have good things to say about Codementor.
