Thanks @goldenkittymeow for the nomination for Book of the Year. Also thanks @bentossell and @nikkielizdemere for originally hosting the book on Product Hunt last month. We were excited to be the #1 book on PH that day and subsequently join the 100+ Upvote Club, making it one of PH's highest-rated books! Based on the Y Combinator course at Stanford University, “How to Start a Startup” is the ultimate Silicon Valley playbook — a 200-page reference guide on everything you’ll need to know in the earliest stages of your company. You’ll learn from 25+ tech founders and investors like: Sam Altman, Paul Graham, Reid Hoffman, Aaron Levie, Ben Horowitz, Marc Andreessen, Peter Thiel, and Ron Conway. These insiders will reveal the secrets to raising money, hiring a great team, building products users love, getting press coverage, and more.

great folks there at ThinkApps (that I owe a free blog post too, haven't forgot!) - haven't read the book but looks like they put a lot of research into it (was offered a complimentary copy which was thoughtful but it's for sale so I should buy it if I decide to get around to reading it :-))
