And if you think this is a bit over the top, well... you just haven't arrived there yet. But you will. Sorry to disappoint you. And I am not talking about some philosophy bullshit, this is a real-life struggle, a Saturday night fever, thousands of popcorns eaten in vain, so many worthless discussions led, and what have we come up with?

Never miss a movie coming out again

I've always been envious of people who are "good with their hands". When they need a table for their home, they hop down to the local hardware store, buy some wood and other supplies and a few hours later they have new table for their home. Need some shelves for the office, no problem.

I needed to automatically get information on all the movies coming out, I certainly wasn't going to be able to manually create the list with associated data, even if I wanted too, which I didn't. I needed the list of upcoming movies, the release dates for those movies, all the meta data (title, description, images) and I also wanted trailers for the movies.

The Report Stardust is the latest application to prioritize reacting to popular media. However, unlike its predecessors, Stardust specializes in uncensored thoughts of movies, tv shows, and trailers.
REEL TALKER
Last week I was introduced to to this new app called Stardust (iPhone & Android). I had never heard of this app and wasn't sure what it was all about, besides the fact that it was used to record movie reactions. If Instagram and Snapchat merged and had a movie theme to it then this would be the app.

Movies ranked by revenue, because masses are never wrong

Masses are never wrong! Right?! So why not rank movies on revenue.

Box Officed is a pet project I started to learn more on ReactJS, Redux, MaterialUI, Firebase, A/B testing... Idea came after I checked list of public API's and saw revenue information in The Movie DB API.

It turned into a nice suggestion tool, especially with randomized filtering
