@mrcalexandre What is Folk? πŸ‘€
@aleks_muse Folk is a new CRM that recently launched on Product Hunt. I saw a comment by Ryan about it and tried it. I am super happy with it and I am in the process of having all my contacts organized in Folk. You can try it here
@mrcalexandre Oh thank you, will try it 😊
@rrhoover You wanted to have my thoughts and experience after using Folk for one week. I am super happy with it and recommend it if you are looking for a CRM. It's super easy to use, customizable with the custom tags and fields, the interface is nice. There are still some bugs but not many. I really like the campaign section because I am going to use one to catch up with people and one for my internship search for next year for example. It's a nice addition to the tags section. Being able to have everything in one place is super handy, especially since you can add task, file or a note to a connection. Improvement ideas: It would be cool to have a Twitter and Linkedin integration to add people from these networks. A mobile app would also be perfect πŸ‘Œ
@mrcalexandre agree re: Twitter and LinkedIn integration. I gave the team that same feedback – Twitter is my best CRM right now.
@rrhoover Yes the integrations would be really handy because it took me a lot of time to add my connections, and I don't have a lot of connections compared to most people in tech. Twitter is really useful for that, but misses all the tagging option, really useful in Folk. But how do you make a distinction between Twitter friends and just Twitter followings or followers?
@mrcalexandre I'm selective in who I follow so anyone I follow is someone I'm interested in staying in touch with.
@rrhoover OK that's the best way to do it, thanks for your answer. I should also do that
