It is true that the more you invest, the greater the results you can achieve - but it also depends on other things (e.g. the quality of the content, the degree to which it interacts with the audience, etc.)...
And... according to a report shared by LinkedIn, social media management is the #1 skill needed in 2024 as a key area across multiple industries and geographical locations. 😀

@busmark_w_nika OK in that case my answer is correct. Between PH and Twitter, I spend more than 1 hour daily :)
I would say that I spend about 2-3 hours a day on social media (mainly Twitter, PH and Reddit). But it’s particularly difficult since I’m looking to interact, comment and help people complaining about spam, as it doesn’t happen every day. Besides posting every day on Twitter and PH😀
I spent about a year on LinkedIn building an audience and community, and I found out the hard way that it was the wrong community, as it wasn’t my target audience. So this time, I’m focusing on the niche, and it’s painfully slow
@claudiu_cogalniceanu ufff, which social media was the easiest to build? :D I have a very hard time with YouTube (but it is something completely different to build because it is a platform for entertainment) :D
@busmark_w_nika definitely LinkedIn was the easiest.
YouTube is surely one of the hardest things you can do - it takes time, it takes a lot of iterations, and from what I keep seeing, everything starts from the Title and Thumbnail. It feels counterintuitive, but all big creators say the same thing. And then you create the video around those.
I created a few youtube videos and even tiktoks for a while, but it’s not really for me. I’m much more comfortable writing, which is why I started a blog😀
@claudiu_cogalniceanu Hmm... I started very badly, my first thumbnails weren't good (I switched them) but it could be better. 😂 where can I see your blog and YT account?
@busmark_w_nika considering that you have only a handful of videos, the progress is really impressive Nika! I mean it! There’s the guy from Film Booth that offers some great info into storytelling and thumbnail, if you want to look into it.

If you simply need to engage by commenting and responding to messages or post simple texts, 1 to 2 hours should be enough. However, if you're planning to create all the content for posting yourself, it involves a bigger commitment. Gaining traction is challenging these days, requiring you to be innovative with your content (videos, shorts, cover photos, GIFs, etc - all of which are time-consuming).
@henry_habib yep, I am on social media more than 2 hours per day... to stick with the latest trends and new platforms... I am not bored at all. 😀

3-5 hours. It's not continuous; it's spread throughout the day, which isn't ideal, I know. I keep checking notifications and replying to comments. Sometimes, I even check quickly at night.
@priyanka27 I think that discontinuity is better. Because you are active throughout the day, not only in one block. EG when "rush hour" is at 8PM and 10PM but you are active during 9AM – 12AM – you are missing rush hour when the most attempting (eye-catching) conversation happens.
Depending on the situation, if I'm fully focused on developing a product, I might not use social media at all.

I'd say 1-3 hours a day, mostly on PH. I also try to be more active on X, but getting the target audience's attention has been quite a slow process so far 😅
@michaelshver Do you have Twitter Premium? Because after purchasing it... I started growing. But it is a fact I was more engaging.
For me its all depends upon the work load. If i have to calculate how much time i have to spend on study and mobile and side husstel of my lottery work of Nagaland Dear Lottery Result. Then , I thin i have spent almost daily 15 hours.
