I like Product Hunt and social media/marketing in general BUT I try to be on many fronts in offline life too.
What other activities in your life do you find fulfilling? 🙏
For me, it is:
✅ Sport – I have made it a habit (it needs to be in my day)
✅ Learning languages – same as the above
✅ Photography
✅ Attending cultural/educational events
Maybe I'll take inspiration from your list of hobbies and find a new one, so let's go for it. 👇

@busmark_w_nika I can relate to all of your answers, which kind of sport do you practice regularly?
For me, the biggest fulfilling hobby is
👟 Sport (Crossfit, running, swimming and Yoga, I will never say no to any sport event)
🧖♀️ Sauna (Yes, I have a Sauna membership :D)
🎹 Music - playing piano or listening to some of my Vinyl collections
✈️ Not very often anymore, but I LOVE travelling and exploring different cultures, getting to know locals from other countries and trying to pick up their language.

@laura_riehl Thanks for the question. I really like HIIT, pilates, yoga and slight acrobatics. Apart from that (recreational running, swimming, hiking). 🙂 You are my person, sport above all :D Oh, music – I totally forgot about this one but unfortunately do not play any instrument (yet)... rather listening and dancing to the music :D I can that many of your hobbies are almost the same for me. 😎

@creative_nemo Okay, I needed to search 2/3 of activities you are doing :D What did you lead you to plants? I mean, this is very unusual to me.
I am also learning language, photography I loved most but I do it only when i am in my hometown, I like cycling but I do not have a cycle right now. I don't follow most of my hobbies.

For me: Spanish and German (I started with German first).

@nitin_joshi Because neighbourhood countries are German speaking + I collab on the app that origins from Germany.

@filippo_calabrese ah, okay. When you used the term kung fu, I started to be more "in" topic. Another unusual I have heard of is Qigong. One of my students in my past yoga classes practised it in her free time. But I am not so sure if it is a martial art because as she described it, it didn't look to be very kinetic.

@konrad_sx Philosophy is a hard nut to crack. So many streams. Do you have a favourite philosopher? :)
@busmark_w_nika I don't have one favourite philosopher. I see philosophy "as a science": What really matters are the ideas and the reasons for them, not who had them first or how they are stated.
But here are some philosophers with very important ideas: Kant, Thomas Nagel, Derek Parfit, Peter Singer.
Kant will be the most difficult to read (and I didn't yet read much from him myself), but you could start with Nagel (https://www.amazon.com/What-Does..., https://www.amazon.com/Mortal-Qu...), Parfit (https://www.amazon.com/Reasons-P...), Singer (https://www.givingwhatwecan.org/..., https://www.amazon.com/Practical...)
@konrad_sx What about futurism (Toffler)? (TBH, it is quite a long time since we had a philosophy at university, but most of many I remember this one). It is true that philosophy is an interdisciplinary science (sometimes it is also intertwined with the economy - we had a lot of that.) :D
@busmark_w_nika Futurism is very interesting and important of course. Didn't read anything from Toffler, but Hans Moravec and Ray Kurzweil (they have a very positive view)

@busmark_w_nika I like reading a real overcoming-an-obstacle story for books detailing about one specific skill I want to learn more about. Here are some:
The Cold Start Problem, Andrew Chen.
- A must read for anyone who is building a product requiring multiple users to interact with one another in some way. Uber, tinder, etc.
The Hard Thing about Hard Things, Ben Horowitz.
- The difficult obstacles Ben has been through as CEO of LoudCloud. Had to in lay off many early employees (50%?). He's been through hell and back, dozens of times.
The Lean Startup, Eric Riles.
- Must read for anyone interested in building a startup or passionate about making money from a project. Restructure the way you think about business. You don't make a 12 paged business plan with just your intuition.
Meditate, walk, read, and play chess :)

Aside from being a gym rat, I love cool niche tech products that are so random but solve a very peculiar problem. From this, you can also tell that I'm a tech nerd. Also, I enjoy playing video games. If you want to experience some of the best stories told through this medium, you have to try out RDR2, Ghost of Tsushima, and God of War. And, multiplayer games like Halo, Minecraft, and CSGO are a lot of fun to play with friends.
@busmark_w_nika For movies, Christopher Nolan's ones. I recently read and loved The 48 Laws of Power by Robert Greene.
