IMHO, think about designs that are sleek and clean, with bold fonts that pop. Using lively colors and cool animations also catches the eye. Tailoring the experience to each user and adding fun illustrations can really hook their attention.

Minimalistic layouts, bold typography, micro-animations, and dark mode are trending.

Having a user friendly website is a must. From then on, I think it really depends on the target audience. You could go all into typography as a graphic element and still succeed in capturing user's attention :)

Oh, depending on the context you could make good use of colors and movement. They are great for driving attention if the context isn't already full of them.

@louis_garnier Hi Louis, no. I'm talking about visual perception. We humans have evolved to survive and the way we perceive reality played a big role on that. Studies found that perception patterns can be applied to design and are specially useful in UI design. A simple exemple: One can drive attention by applying movement to a button (like a button that has a moving glow).

Depends on your user group! It's less about the "trends" and more about the value of the content you're providing them and when in their experience you're surfacing that too them.

Showcasing the features of a service live on the landing page is a huge attention grabber. Have decided to onboard many times purely because there was something I can test and play with.
