One more thing to consider is that a healthy and efficient organization cannot do without a professional HR team that helps each person to perform at their best in the right position.

First of all, I was sad that I couldn't pick both. I worked for company's that had and that didn't have HR. The ones that had them, even at early staged, made me feel way better. I'm not sure if it's necessarily about performance management, but for me it was about them building events for the team, communicating with us and making us feel comfortable to go to them if we had any type of issue at work and that promotes such a healthy culture! Of course, in this particular case, they were definitely very good HR dep. buuuuut I tend to still think this to this day!

Building a supportive environment where employees feel valued and comfortable is at the core of what we aim to achieve. Your perspective is exactly what I hoped to hear, especially with my 7 years of HR experience. Thank you for sharing your viewpoint :)

Human resources departments play a pivotal role in shaping the culture and efficiency of businesses, acting as the bridge between management's vision and employee welfare. Their impact is profound, often directly correlating with a company's ability to attract, retain, and develop talent, which in turn drives innovation and growth.

@zijian Absolutely. HR departments are essential in shaping a company's culture and effectiveness. They bridge the gap between management and employee welfare, impacting the company's talent attraction, retention, and development, which ultimately drives innovation and growth. Despite the challenges, these remain our main goals, guiding our department's focus and direction.

hard question, as they should play a role that supports the business and enables the team and the business to grow, but not sure they are all set up for success.
