My take is that the visual part should convert and copy should be 80% optimized for SERP.

Great question, something I wonder as well! I don't have an educated take on this, but Yurii why do you think the visual is what converts / is there empirical data to back this? Not a dig - just super curious! Also would love your feedback on our landing page for Smartrazor which we launched today as a seasoned marketer!

@yukioyama It's just a point of heated discussion in my team, and I wanted to gather some independent opinions. My opinion at the moment is more of an educated guess than something based on research. Took a quick look. - Background is to dark, and it makes the content panels blend with it. - Lack of information about pricing and distribution models. - Try to gather app reviews and place a block that refers to them. - Make CTA buttons with different calls to action That's some advice from the top of my head. And just follow best practices in building that landing page. They are usually time-tested and will deliver medium yet reliable performance. A creative landing page made from scratch is a risk, but it can lead you beyond mediocrity.

@yurii_holovanov Thank you so much Yurii. This is great feedback! When you say lacks info about distribution models, do you mean you'd want to see that on the landing page? Definitely will gather some testimonials once we have some, and will try diff CTA buttons! Any resources you could suggest for best practices landing page? Thanks!

@yukioyama Sadly no. Just look it up and include the phrase 'with examples' and browse for ideas & inspiration.

Launching soon!
Both should be good but visuals have more effect in my opinion.

In my opinion, I think the visuals have a bigger impact on the conversion. I think it's because the visuals are more visible than the writing, and they make a first impression of the landing page first.

If visuals are more important, do you think 3D visuals (if it was as easy as 2D) would be more impactful?
Yurii Holovanov
@jagriti_kumar Probably yes. But a good interaction point that cheaper and easier to implement is video or gifs placement. If you have cash though, you can experiment.
