Buttondown has been an amazing experience for me. The service is constantly being improved and customer service is the best. My newsletter with Buttondown has grown from a fairly small list to over 15,000 subscribers, and it hasn't broken a sweat yet.
This newsletter solution is uncluttered and works! I've used it for over a year now, writing in markdown and pushing it out to my readership. Should you need it, support is kind, quick, and always willing to help.
Love the homegrown Startup attitude to Buttondown without all the ambitious ego. It’s a humble app doing a common job but with end users in mind.
10x better than Mailchimp, Substack, Mailerlite, Tinyletter, and others. Trust me, I've tried them all. Easy to set up, but lots of options for customization if you want them.
Just the best newsletter tool out there. The new pricing model is less generous than before, but even with that in mind it is still worth every penny.
Love to support Buttondown and encourage its ongoing healthy growth 🫡
What I love about Buttondown
1. I can write my emails in Markdown like i'm used to
2. The UI is simple, and I can quickly find what I need
3. The developer/owner is SUPER responsive to bug reports etc via their Discord
4. My favorite feature: I've got CATEGORIES that people can sign up to, embedded and styled on my on site caseywatts.com/newsletter
Buttondown is a quick-to-use markdown-first Newsletter provider that's perfect for my personal newsletter. Since Justin works on it fulltime, there are new features being released constantly and the care / service he provides is outstanding!
Simple with just what you need – no fluff
