I've been a professional hacker for the past 19 years, helping organizations fight bad guys who are using the latest tech. Bad guys are now using generative artificial intelligence to commit phone call fraud and are wreaking havoc on individuals, families, and businesses. No one wants their grandparents to get a phone call from a fake you that is using your cloned voice. Many are trying their best to "identify" AI in an effort to fight back, but just like cyber security, those efforts have fruit for a day or two until the tech has outpaced them.
