To all the Makers - I have a question..
I personally have found marketing to be tricky, hard and costly.
Platforms like product hunt do help but once the launch is over, it requires a decent amount of time, money and energy to keep the momentum going.
What are the top 2 things you find the toughest when it comes to marketing your launch?

To all makers out there. What was the uptick that you received from your ph launch ?
Personally I have seen lukewarm activity after the launch got over from ph.
What I value is feedback that helps iron out rough edges and recommendations for a more complete product.
While we did get some of that on the day of the launch it eventually died down.
A lot more valuable feedback came from other communities like X, the subscriber base etc.
I am contemplating whether it is going...

While the jury on this is still out it’s essentially a game of odds. Also lot of people don’t know how to fail fast or take a step back
On the flip side building too many products does lead to shallow thinking

BTW guys one bug, the rating dialogue came up event before it generated an essay, might want to look into it. You want to generate it after the essay is written.

Some feedback : try and create a social media group as well apart from a closed email group. Allows for organic growth. Perhaps a discord channel.

Personally as a child I wanted to be always involved with computers one way or the other so I would imagine I ended up in the ballpark of where I intended to be .
