I try to focus on 10am - 5pm for all of the main tasks, other than discussions with overseas practitioners who we need to talk to in their working day.

Interesting question. We've got ours in discord but the main problem is getting people (who might not otherwise use it) there regularly. We're thinking of moving to Slack so people don't have to add another platform to their day to day checklist, or Twitter when the function launches.

The N2D Method is a system for deciding what to do next. It brings simplicity and clarity to the challenge of prioritizing initiatives in complex circumstances.

How do you stop yourself procratinating?
I'm a hugely productive person normally, but I can get a week occasionally where I procrastinate massively - or I get things done really slowly and my prioritisation is terrible. I get caught up in doing 'busy work' rather than the most important things.
Maybe I should just respect my natural rhythm - as I say, usually I'm pretty focused so it doesn't cause me any major problems - but I always...

I read that listening to anything with lyrics in your own language is virtually impossible not to process, so anything classical or instrumental.

Try to avoid it, but if I need to I do. I see it as one of the responsibilities of having my own business.

I first used N2D as MD of a development company that was being asked to build increasingly complex products, systems and transformation plans and we didn't always know; a) if we were 'answering the right exam question', b) how to prioritise the user needs and c) what functions or features to prioritise.
This was a few years back – I used an earlier version of N2D that Phil had been developing...

Hubspot is pretty powerful for the low level of subscription that we use. It's pretty amazing what you can do at the free level too, worth investigating. The one thing I would say is the price leap from the starter packs to the next level if you're a small organisation is pretty high, we can't actually justify doing it.

Moving away from gas to a fully electric home with solar and powerwall has saved us money and hassle - living in a remote area. Once you get used to the system and app this is pretty impressive. Plus having power in a blackout has been super useful on a few occasions.

We've just started with Intercom. The flexibility and the amount of control you have over communication options is pretty phenomenal, plus we've been able to ditch lots of other subscriptions to move everything into one place.
