Small businesses struggling to compete with Amazon on shipping cost. What if part of every garage in US homes be converted to store specific types of products as a bonded micro warehouse. The house owner make side income while putting an amount bonded in an interest bearing escrow account held by the garage-as-warehouse startup. The startup gets small businesses send non-perishable products like parts, small gadgets, clothing etc to these micro warehouses around the country. The garage-warehouses use apps to track and fulfill orders by shipping locally or even delivering in their own vehicle. Why doesn’t this exist already?
