Has anyone noticed a change in Product Hunt?
Discussion posts not being published, launches not being featured on the Homepage.
What’s happening?
I’m starting to lose confidence in the launch I have scheduled…

Oh man tell me about it Claudiu.
Every single one of my last 3 discussions were quarantined, until I reached out to PH's support.
To be fair, they did unquarantine them eventually, but it's too late, because other discussions were able to get votes while mine languished unseen at the bottom. The quarantine delay killed their traction.

@vertikanigam They gave me a scripted non answer. It's definitely not a random one-off. It's happened so often that I thought my account was flagged, but apparently not.

I really would've thought that PH users would appreciate someone building nice features for them and that we'd have a very lively discussion.
But no, it got quarantined for too long so it's momentum is gone.
@claudiu_cogalniceanu I wouldn't describe it as fine at all, Claudiu. Discussions are one of the only ways to legitimately and genuinely connect with other people, research, ask for feedback, etc.
By making it impossible to do this (due to quarantined discussions), it would push people to pursue dark methods (spam).
@jgani yep, I've also noticed the problem with discussions. Some of mine never appear on the discussions page too. And links being blocked after a couple of times you post them seriously decreases the amount of interactions you can get for your launch in discussions.
I just don't know if it's always been like this or are these problems new to the platform? Because I've been noticing it since joining PH in the end of February!
We had this problem too but luckily it is now fixed
