Despite more ways to get in touch than ever before, or maybe because of this plethora, phone calls and texts hold a special ability to cut through the noise. Phone numbers feel familiar, more direct than email and other messengers.
As someone who's worked on creating internal connection in teams (Tandem) it's been exciting to follow the evolution of external, customer-facing comms....

Whoah very exciting! At my last startup we built an Airtable-based system to extract product insights from a variety of sources (intercom, interviews). It was inspired by @rahulvohra βs internal tool at Superhuman.
Very cool to see Airtable embracing this use case.

We had a slight issue in rolling out a new comment moderation system which resulted in some longtime community members' comments being hidden until a mod team unhid them. I believe we've corrected this now and it shouldn't be an issue going forward.

Universal Search is maybe the holy grail of enterprise info management, and Dropbox has made a major entry into this field. I was an alpha user of universal search app Command-E (founded by Ben Standefer and Tom Uebel), which was acquired by Dropbox and formed a key part of the strategy behind Dash.
Before Product Hunt, I worked on new products with Drew at Dropbox and was struck by his...

Thanks for these! Could you share some specific examples of what you mean by this?
β At times, there seems to be a disconnect between the moderation, product / tech, and support teams. It's important for the PH team to work more cohesively to assist the support team, as they serve as the critical link between the PH team and the community.β

I'm intrigued by being able to upload a doc and have AI turn it into a mindmap, but it's not possible to do that without paying. To be honest, the way you've done pricing feels a bit like a money grab. Does that feature actually work? If so, why not give a free trial so users can experience your core value.
I'm generally in favor of charging for things that are valuable, but in this case I...

Product Hunt is indispensable as the place to see what's new, but with the introduction of Shoutouts (the products that power top launches), Product Hunt now has an incredible dataset of which products are most loved (20,000 Shoutouts and counting).
But the data is only a piece of the puzzle β to really make a call on which product to try or buy, you need to understand that product's...

Oh cool! Those apps are so annoying to use. I recall many years ago there were a few apps that tried to do this but of course ML is a lot better now.

[ChangeLog] September 2 Changelog β Draft Launches and Scheduling Updates
This Wednesday, we'll be rolling out an update to the submission flow. Historically, at the end of the submission flow, you could either Launch Now or Schedule for a future time. Going forward though, we're going to replace the Launch Now option with a new Create Draft option.
This change is based on consistent feedback we've gotten from Makers who either accidentally launched their product...
