Build 100% of our product on Softr on the free plan and it's totally functional. The greatest no-code platform that I tested for what I nedeed. I think that the only think that they are laking is a startup program, for companies who are building something to last on their platform.
Such an easy to use and powerful no code tool!!! While I do have programming knowledge, my team members who didn't found the drag-and-drop interface very simple to design personalized websites and web applications. The availability of pre-designed templates and design elements was especially valuable as they allowed us to swiftly develop a website with a professional appearance.
The platform's remarkable capabilities, combined with its user-friendly interface, have made building web and mobile applications an absolute pleasure. From concept to deployment, Softr streamlines the entire process, enabling me to effortlessly create stunning, functional applications without any coding expertise. The extensive range of templates, integrations, and customization options provided by Softr empowers me to craft tailor-made solutions that perfectly meet my project requirements. Additionally, the prompt and knowledgeable customer support team ensures that any queries or concerns are resolved swiftly. I wholeheartedly recommend Softr to anyone seeking a top-notch software development experience.
Softr will likely replace WordPress in 10 years ... think WordPress pre 1.0 (Miles Davis) Once they get their pretty permalink issues fixed this will actually be SEO friendly and easy to use. For now great for small projects and sign-up forms. Also stating the price is FREE is quite misleading since to do anything but play around with it you will need to pay.
Softr is good if you just want a light presentational website. It does have a nice range of customization, but it's all focused on being visually pleasing. If you have a serious business and need a proper website to do the heavy lifting with SEO optimization, articles, selling through it etc. then Softr is VERY BAD at it. I'm especially displeased with the fact that their SEO optimization is incredibly bad. If you need SEO, then STAY AWAY from Softr.
Softr has enabled our company to start building useful apps for our production team where previously we were limited to excel and physical paper because off the shelf options did not have the flexibility we required. We are able, with Softr, to build something that fits our unique business needs. The blocks are fairly straightforward to work with and I am still learning so I expect I will figure out better ways to use them as I learn which will unlock more potential for our in-house app. One thing I hope will be included in softr in the future is more flexibility with the charts. Right now I cannot achieve the same level of detail with softr charts as with excel graphs. I want to use the charts to provide feedback to different departments in the company but there is no option to input multiple datasets. From the softr resources explaining how the chart blocks work I cannot figure this out. However, I am a beginner so if anyone knows of a resource that would help me figure this out I would love to see that.
